Services

Team Building & Corporate Events:
Escape from the confines of the office and boardroom and discover the great outdoors with a Wellies-On team building day.
Flat Pack Farm:
Wellies On offer a mobile service in the form of the Flat Pack Farm. We are aware that visiting us on the farm can be very costly and hard to organise. Our Flat Pack Farm offers you a great alternative. We bring the farm yard to you.
Therapeutic Services:
We provide a range of therapeutic services tailor made to each individual. Following an initial assessment, goals and aspirations are established in conjunction with the client to achieve a completely person centred programme.
This is just a flavour of what we do. Full details are on our website.

Business Profile

Wellies-On is a 40 acre social farm (care farm) based in Abberton just outside of Colchester in the heart of the Essex countryside. A social farm brings together the care of the land, environment and animals with care of the people.

We welcome farm helpers, our co-farmers, come from many different backgrounds with varying needs and abilities. They can contact us themselves or be referred by organisations including Social Services, support worker, Carer, Occupational or Physio Therapist, GP, and Educational adviser.

Andrea Bradshaw – Tall Trees Care Home

” We would just like to say thank you for joining us at Tall Trees today. The residents thoroughly enjoyed their time with your animals, especially the lovely sparkle. So many of our residents commented on how they have never seen or touched a small goat, so that for them was a lovely memory made and something they can now reminisce about. “

Amy Wolf MS-UK Ltd

” I would highly recommend Wellies On to anyone looking for a good team building exercise for their staff and an opportunity to do something really rewarding at the same time. Thank you Ellie Goff and the rest of your team – we had a brilliant time! “

Matt Cooke

” Superb community, providing essential therapeutic setting and work for those whose needs falls beyond the remit of mainstream education settings. A real sense of community and belonging that supports students in talking in roles of responsibility for animal welfare and farm husbandry “
